About

Hello, and welcome to our new site chronicling the looks worn by Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.  We couldn’t be happier you stopped by for a visit. A special “hello” to those visiting from our now-closed What Prince George Wore site, and/or What Kate Wore.

Our goal is to simply provide an ongoing compendium of pieces worn by TRH, notable toys, gifts, or other items of note. By the very nature of George, Charlotte and Louis ages and limited public appearances, it’s unlikely WKKW will offer an abundance of posts. But that doesn’t mean we won’t do our best to make them informative and fun, with hopes that you enjoy your time here.

A bit more information about the blog and its contents:

  • PHOTOS: We believe it is proper to pay for the photographs used in the blog. Images are licensed from international photo agencies; you will generally see them credited in the caption and/or watermarked on the photo. In some cases, the pictures are in the public domain, or we have been granted permission to use them by the individual/agency who took them. We also use photos posted on social media sites like Instagram and Twitter.
  • LINKS: We do the best we can to provide links that take you to retailers where you can purchase those items George, Charlotte or Louis have worn, or at times, similar items. In some instances these links may generate revenue in the form of a commission; the revenue is used to pay photo licensing fees so we can provide you with professional images here on the blog. Earnings are also applied to our recurring monthly expenses: costs for site hosting, site security, and bandwidth overage fees.
  • COMMENTS: Like our sister page, What Kate Wore, we welcome comments. We also echo the standards established by that site: this is not a place for political debates, discussion of the monarchy as an institution, or other topics of a controversial nature. It is a page about the clothing, toys and accompanying accessories worn/used by two little boys and a little girl. Healthy debate is a wonderful thing as long as it is conducted in an adult fashion; comments containing vulgarities, personal attacks, are disrespectful to other commenters or designed to initiate controversy will not be published, nor will those with otherwise inappropriate material.

Hi – are you no longer updating this site? I was hoping to read about the coronation and trooping outfits the children wore.

    Hello!

I was just wondering a few things.

I see that you did not post in the outfits Prince George and Princess Charlotte wore to the state funeral of the late Queen. I understand if that omission was out of respect for the mourning period. I was just curious.

Additionally, I was wondering if you would be compiling a post for the outfits worn by Prince George and Princess Charlotte for the carol service hosted by the Princess of Wales at Westminster Abbey. I also understand if you are working on it or are waiting until it airs on Christmas.

I was also curious as to whether or not you might dabble into some of the outfits of other royal children. With them all getting older, we are seeing more photos and appearances at holiday services and state occasions (i.e. Easter, Christmas, Jubilee, Trooping, funerals).

Just some curiosities floating around in my head.

I believe that Pepa & Co., which the children have been seen in before, has claimed the credit for Princess Charlotte’s coat worn at the Carol service.

Thank you for the tip, Caitlyn. I believe it is the Trotters Classic Coat. The Pepa & Co. coat I have seen online does not have the self-covered buttons like the coat worn by the Princess, or the pocket flaps, and the top-stitching is different on the collar.

Hi, Caitlyn, and thank you for commenting. Those are all good questions! I did not cover the funeral outfits for precisely the reason you mentioned. The outfits worn for the carol service will be part of the Christmas Day post. This is because the only ID I have is for the coat worn by Princess Charlotte; it didn’t merit a full post IMO because of the dearth of information. I don’t plan on covering styles worn by other royal children at this point; I have my hands full with the two sites. 😊

Hi, and thank you for commenting. Are you thinking about a Prince William page? I fear that would be way beyond my skill level, what little I know is only from following Kate! 🙂

Thank you so much for the tip! I’m having a tough time finding the dress on the Childrens Carousel site, do you happen to have a link? I’ve gone through all of the Facebook photos for Pretty Originals, but must be missing it. Any insight you can share would be more-than-appreciated! (Here’s the FB link for the Pretty Originals pictures: https://www.facebook.com/prettyoriginals/photos

    Hello
Just wondering if you realise that the socks seen being worn by Prince George, come from the manufacturer Condor http://shop.condor.es/rib-knee-high-socks

    https://wholesalealiolikids.wordpress.com/tag/condor-socks-wholesale-uk/

thought it might help, as they are actually widely available.

Hi Stacey, thanks so much for reading *and* commenting. I did not know that, and will share the link on “the Very Latest” page and also include it in a future post. Thank you for the great tip!

    Hi,
With a 23 month old boy who’s getting too big for the Start Rite Jo shoes, I’m wondering if you or any of your readers know of an alternative, same style, which runs in larger sizes? Or do you perhaps think an Oxford style (like http://www.childrensalon.com/shoes/childrens-classics-boys-blue-leather-lace-up-oxford-occasion-shoes-58213.html or http://www.startriteshoes.com/boys-shoes/classics/john-navy-leather-boys-lace-up-classic-shoes) is more appropriate for a (slightly) older boy?
    Thank you!

Depends where you live. In the UK, Clark’s have the best range.
At two my son was wearing Gro-shus in Australia, and later, Bata (not the same as the Italian Bata) school shoes.
