Today, Prince George joined his parents at the big England vs. Wales rugby match.
The match is part of the Six Nations Championship. This photo shows how big the crowds are waiting to see England arrive for today’s match.
Rebecca English of the Daily Mail posted a video of the Cambridges arriving at Twickenham Stadium.

As some readers may know, Prince William is patron of the Welsh Rugby Union, while the Duchess is the recently-named patron of the England Rugby Union.
More on the match from this Telegraph story.
While the Duke and Duchess wore England and Wales scarves for the Six Nations match, Prince George wore a studiously neutral red and blue puffa jacket.
Before the match, George was asked whether he was supporting England or Wales. He shrugged in reply and then smiled at his father, who laughed. “It’s become quite the thing in the house”, said William, then gestured to his wife. “She is quite into it, I’m trying to stay out of it.”
Huge thanks to Bojana for her speedy ID of the Prince’s jacket. It is a Ralph Lauren style that may be a past-season design. Here is a look at it via an eBay listing for the piece.
According to the auction listing, the jacket has a nylon shell with partial down insulation, zippered pockets, and a zip front. Unfortunately, I cannot ID the Prince’s trousers from the photos available but will take a look at the shoes and update the post if I learn anything about them.
It was evident in today’s photos and video the Prince has grown quite a bit. We can’t tell how tall he was for his eighth birthday photo (on the right), but he certainly looked taller today than the last time we saw video of him.
Could his pants be from J. Crew? They look like these:

Hi, Olivia, and thank you for the suggestion. They do look similar to what Prince George wore. Unfortunately, without better photos, I am not comfortable saying if any pair is the pair he wore. Lacking a photo showing the waistband and pockets, it’s just not enough to base a decision on. But they’re a great ‘repli0-George,’ to be sure. 🙂
Really do enjoy this site and looking at the kids’ clothes. They’re always turned out so smartly.
Thank you, Rhonda! ?
