Today we enjoyed a lovely Sunday surprise: new photos of Princess Charlotte and Prince George with their mother at the Beaufort Polo Club.
Charlotte was looking very stylish in her snappy pink sunglasses.
It’s not the first time at the event for Prince George. Many will remember when the Duchess took him to the club back in 2015.
Both Cambridge children seemed to have a delightful time running about and playing with their cousins.

George spent some of his time making a picture, you can see it below right. It almost looks like he drew the volcano in Hawaii, showing the lava flowing down the mountain.
Another look at Charlotte enjoying the sunshine.

Here you see the Duchess with both children and Savannah Phillips (on the far left), a second cousin of George and Charlotte.
Savannah is also the young lady who tried to ‘shush’ George at one point during Trooping the Colour yesterday.

Now to what Charlotte and George wore for today’s outing.
We may finally know who made the dress Charlotte wore to the Houghton Horse Trials several weeks ago and again today. It appears to be the Amelia Dress ($40) from Kate favorite Little White Company.
The dress is 100% cotton, fully lined, and I *think* the bodice is smocked. Here is another look at Charlotte today.

The Little White Company has a similar Amelia style for baby girls in sizes newborn – 12 months available on its UK site.
All credit for the dress ID goes to Katie on Twitter; she posted about it this afternoon. Thank you, Katie!
At the Houghton Horse Trials, we saw Charlotte was in the Hampton Canvas ‘Plum’ style shoes in the Rosa color, seen below left. Today she was in the same style, but in navy, just like her big brother.
I don’t know where Charlotte’s sunglasses are from but will have a look for them Monday.
More good news: it appears we know what Prince George wore today. He also had on Little White Company styles, the brand’s Jersey Polo and Short Set ($53); we show it at Selfridges.
The jersey knit shirt is 100% cotton with an embroidered anchor at the chest, a point collar, different colored buttons and side vents. The shorts are also 100% cotton in brushed twill, with front and back pockets and an elastic waist. Some may remember that you could see the red ties on George’s shorts at the Houghton Horse Trials.
The set is also offered online at the Little White Company UK site. Like his younger sister, George wore his Hampton Canvas sneakers in navy.
Thank you to innominate_93 on Twitter for identifying what George wore and sharing the info with all of us.
It’s wonderful to know we have several pieces IDed, that makes for a perfect ending to the weekend!
I totally agree ! These pictures made me happy too ! Barefoot and just running around having fun! Regarding Charlottes sunglasses, they almost look like they match the dress (but I can´t really tell of course) – same/similar pattern?
I like the summer shoes and I was wondering if there are there some suggestions where I could look for repli-george/charlotte shoes? I like the style, but a bit too much for me ! Thank you!
Where are the shoe laces for Prince George and Princess Charlottes shoes? I know this is trivial, but as a mom myself, I tend to tune into things like that. Those two little ones are adorable. Good to see that they are living a “normal” childs life. Kate and William appear to be wonderful parents.
I wondered the same when first seeing the shoes a few weeks ago, until I identified them and realized they are meant to be worn without laces. My guess is that Kate has them in sturdier styles most of the time, although I have nothing to base that premise on. 🙂
The shoes are a slip on style but with lace holes that are not used for laces. They give the look of relaxed summer life , pull your shoes on with bothering about tying them, but they are made in such a way that they keep the foot secure . They are really just a slip on shoe and the lace holes are for fun.
Just think kate is a wonderful modern mammy
I wish herself and William many many happy years with their lovely family
Really cute photos of the kids and grownups. So fun to see everyone out enjoying a lovely day, visiting with friends and cousins and cheering Dad on.
These are some of the loveliest photos I’ve ever seen of royal offspring. It’s a huge tribute to Kate and William’s parenting that they look so natural and unaffected. I’m impressed we have a break-out to a label other than Amaia and George looks very dapper in the Little White classic navy/taupe combination for summer. Charlotte also looks well in her pinafore-style frock, especially streamlined at the sleeves minus ruffles. I love the handy slip-on trainers both children are wearing, although I think at times both of them were running around barefoot.
Charlotte had blue shoes on, not pink! (2nd picture) 😉
How lovely to see the kids in a different environment than the usual official events! <3
Hi, Maddalena, and thank you for commenting! That is what I say in the post, that today (meaning Sunday) she wore navy like her big brother. It could be easy to miss that part of the sentence though, it’s sandwiched in between a number of photos. 🙂
You’re absolutely right! I got confused about the locations ^_^” And all the cuteness in the pictures is indeed distracting <3 Sorry for the pointless comment and thank you for your splendid work!!! <3
Oh, heavens no, Maddelena, no need to apologize, not at all. I am the first to say I get distracted and make mistakes, so I *always* appreciate it when anyone makes time to comment or email, it is enormously helpful. 🙂
Love seeing the youngesr royals enjoying being kids; and wow, George is taking after his mum as an artist! I’m *cough*40*cough* and I still can’t draw that well! ? I love Charlotte’s sunglasses – so chic like mum!
She can really pose like an A-lister with those specs! Going to be a heart-breaker 😉
Quite the lovely afternoon at polo – started with shoes, ended barefoot – probably never saw their father on the horse. Kids being kids – well done.
